NCI releases Team Science Toolkit

toolkitMembers of the NCI Tool Kit editorial board just published an article in the American Journal of Public Medicine (reference below).   This article describes the National Cancer Institute’s “Team Science Toolkit” and how it can be used to help with with team science initiatives.  It’s designed to help a variety of team science stakeholders (from investigators to administrators to translational partners).  It’s organized around three main types of resources: (1) practical tools to enhance, support, or facilitate TS; (2) measures and methods for studying or evaluating TS; and (3) TS-relevant publications and bibliographic citations, including scholarly publications and gray literature (e.g., unpublished technical reports).

Given the importance of the Team Science Toolkit and the value of this article in drawing attention to this important resource, both Elsevier and the AJPM editorial team have agreed to open up access to this article for free from the journal’s website.

This article was written by Steve Fiore and circulated to the Science of Team Science listserv on November 24, 2013.
