Seattle Science Festival – June 6-16, 2013
Seattle Science Festival, the region’s largest celebration of science. Now, in its second year, the festival will bring hands-on exhibits, shows, demonstrations and performances to venues throughout the Pacific Northwest. All events are designed to engage, educate and inspire people of all ages about science, technology, engineering and math. The 2013 festival will take place from June 6-16 and includes:
Opening Night – Paramount Theatre, June 6.
Science Expo Day – This large-scale, free, family-friendly event at Seattle Center offers over 100 interactive exhibits, stage performances, and demonstrations throughout the day on June 8.
Signature Programs – June 6-16, will feature special programming including lectures, workshops, exhibits and behind-the-scenes tours at venues region-wide.
Closing Night – Seattle Repertory Theatre, June 15. Opening and Closing Night events feature “rock stars” of science integrated with artistic performances in highly produced evening events. For full event details visit seattlesciencefestival.org
